BBC Online

PROJECT:

  • Snooker World Championships from the Crucible, Sheffield.

CONTENT:

  • Interactive Fan focussed BTS (Behind the Scenes) content for the BBC Online audience.

Overview

We having been working with IMG to develop  the concept of second screen interactive content for their customers and partners…including the BBC. For this Snooker project we worked directly with BBC Online to create a new strand of interactive content that allowed BBC Online snooker fans to control the content through a Twitter account. This was delivered by Steve, who, armed with a back stage pass would take request tweets from fans – some wanting to speak to their snooker heroes, others wanting to go behind the scenes. The strand was highly successful and we hope to do more work with the BBC and other broadcasters.
