  • Re-Branding & Refurbishment Projects
  • Apprentice Films

CONTENT: Internal Communications Films.

Overview

First Great Western Have been a client since 2012. By far the largest proportion of our work for them is in the creation of Internal Communications Films. The brief behind the films is to increase cross-department productivity and performance by offering the workforce an “Insight” into the roles and responsibilities of each team as well as putting faces to names and allowing the audience to get to know the personnel. The result has been a more joined-up and co-operative approach to the running of the business with the workforce feeling better informed and more involved in the business. We are now also looking at the creation of FGW TV as a delivery channel.

Insights Films //

Objectives

Creation of a content strand to improve cross-departmental communication and performance.

Approach

Working alongside the team at FGW we designed a content strategy to create “insights” into a number of teams – Sales & Commercial, Marketing, Revenue Development, Operations and Customer Experience – painting an on-going picture of the connected fabric of the business.

Roles

We provided an “embedded” resource working within each team, producing, shooting, editing, scripting as well as creating the graphic interface

Re-Branding and Refurbishment //

Objectives

As a part of the business rebranding exercise we have embarked upon a series of videos to communicate to the internal workforce the changes and progress made.

Approach

Reacting to the FGW re-brand team who are identifying candidate projects, we have started to create chaptered content in the form of video progress reports.

Roles

Producing, Directing, Shooting and Scripting.

Apprentice Films //

Objectives

To create films for each of the individuals on the Apprentice scheme. The films were used on the Apprentice Celebration Day event where friends and family gathered to congratulate successful candidates.

Approach

Working to an extremely tight timeline we shot 14 apprentice films in just 8 days in 5 different locations across the network.

Roles

An extremely mobile single-person multi-skilling approach was adopted – Director/Camera/Editor.
